The invention relates to a stackable plant module for a vertical bed, with a plant area and with a water tank, the plant area being contained in an at least partially upwardly open receiving area of the module which is delimited by a front wall of the module which extends between a front upper area and a lower portion further back, and wherein the water tank has a drain and an overflow. The invention also relates to a vertical bed with a plurality of such plant modules arranged one above the other.
