National Legal Assistance Support Project. Dissemination Brief

摘要

The purpose of the project was to educate people who are leaders and influentialcitizens of their own communities about our aging society, in order to prepare them to meet the challenges that societal aging poses. The objectives were to (1) involve 20 national voluntary organizations--civic, fraternal, religious, and professional associations-in the project, (2) to develop and present a workshop on 'Preparing for an Aging Society' at the annual conference or at another major meeting of each participating organization, (3) to distribute four articles on the social and economic implications of an aging population to the memberships of the participating organizations, (4) to promote the use of the workshop and articles by additional national voluntary organizations, to reach their own memberships.
