Foundations of Functional Programming: A Programmer's Point of View

摘要

Functional programming is a style of programming where possibly recursivedefinitions of functions are derived to satisfy a priori given specifications. In this study we provide a mathematical justification for the rules of this game. This study is about the foundations of functional programming, not about the foundations of mathematics in general. The main purpose of this study is to show how simple the rules of the functional programming game are.
