摘要

The objectives were: (1) to define University of New Mexico (UNM)'smultidiscipinary gerontology program which targets three groups; graduate, undergraduate and non-degree students; (2) to create a certificate education program in gerontology/Indian aging; (3) to identify, recruit and maintain a list of existing and new faculty for the certificate program; (4) to recruit students; (5) to develop a resource center on Indian aging; (6) to provide education and certificates in gerontoloty/Indian aging; (7) to prepare a manual on how to develop a certificate program in gerontology/Indian aging; (8) to disseminate information.
