Calibration Service for Spectral Responsivity of Laser and Optical-Fiber Power211 Meters at Wavelenghts between 0.4 mu m and 1.8 mu m

This document describes a calibration service for absolute spectral-responsivity211u001emeasurements of laser power meters, optical-fiber power meters, and detectors 211u001eused with lasers and optical-fiber connectors at wavelengths between 400 nm and 211u001e1800 nm. In addition to a summary of the calibration procedure, a theoretical 211u001ebasis is given for the uncertainty assessment, as well as an overview of the 211u001emeasurement system and operating procedures. A sample calibration report is 211u001eincluded in this document that is similar to that which is provided to the 211u001ecustomer. The calibration report contains absolute responsivity in terms of amps 211u001eper watt at each wavelength increment and a summary of the uncertainty assessment 211u001efor the meter.
