The manual is intended for use by highway maintenance agencies and contractedmaintenance firms in the field and in the office. It is a compendium of good practices for portland cement concrete (PCC) partial-depth spall repair operations, stemming from the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) pavement maintenance studies and a follow-up study sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
