Part I of this Report discusses several methods that are suitable for the precise measurement of temperature coefficient of capacitance and induc¬tance at frequencies up to five megacycles. This includes oscillator methods, impedance methods, bridge methods, and the use of resonant circuits. The advantages and disadvantages of the various methods are considered. Part II of this Report discusses the measurement at frequencies ranging from 5 meg¬acycles to $0 megacycles. The problem of stray parameters becomes very important at these high frequencies, and this dictates the use of a simple parallel resonant circuit as the measuring circuit. Very high precision in determining the resonance condition is achieved by two methods. One consists of an off-resonance technique together with a differential circuit. The other consists of a novel frequency modulation discriminater. In both Parts, automatic measurements are considered.
