Ladder and Simlar Network Used for Projectile Acceleration by Electromagnetic Methods

In accelerating projectiles by electromagnetic methods, it is desirable to increase the efficiency of the process by a two stage accel-erator.nIf the current in a second coil could be made to increase from a very small value to a maximum value while the pellet is traveling from the middle of the second coil to the far end, a two stage accelerator will have been made.nThe subject of this thesis, then, is to investigate some circuits that will produce these desired conditions.
