FLEXIBILITY STUDY OF A FOUR-ROW FRONT-MOUNTED CULTIVATOR TRAVERSING A TERRACE

Flexibility needs in a four-row cultivator crossing terraces are shown to be influenced by terrace height, field cross slope and angle of approach. A mathema¬tical technique is used to determine these flexibility needs and results are presented to show that needs vary greatly on the left and right side of the cultivator as it crosses the terrace.
