Noise Control Techniques for the Design of Coal Preparation Plants

摘要

The purpose of this work was to document the currently available noise control techniques that can be incorporated into new coal preparation plants during the design stage. This was accomplished by reviewing previous experience, conducting an extensive literature search, visiting operating coal preparation plants, and contacting various equipment manufacturers. The treatments addressed include equipment substitution, changes in plant layout, and retrofit treatments for existing equipment.
