User Interfaces and Highly Interactive Systems: Survey of Current Research

摘要

Highly interactive systems are those systems that have a strong emphasis on the dialogue between computer system and user. The article describes the state of the art in highly interactive system design, particularly in design of user-computer dialogues. Section 2 describes methodologies for interactive system design. Section 3 describes the current research with respect to user-computer dialogues. In section 4, management systems for user interfaces and interactive applications are discussed. Section 5 describes the object oriented approach for user interface and interactive system design. In the final section a brief summary and conclusions are given.
