The Draft Environmental Impact Statement analyzes three alternatives for futuremanagement and use of Antietam National Battlefield. They range from maintaining existing conditions to restoring most of the historic scene. Although the alternatives propose distinct actions, they all share the common objective of preserving Antietam National Battlefield while continuing to provide for visitor Understanding and appreciation of its resources and the events that took place there.
