摘要

The phase composition of monocrystalline inclusions in diamond was investigated by using X-ray difrraction. Approximately 100 monocrystals synthesized via the nickel manganese graphite system were examined in order to identify the various stages involved in synthetic diamond growth. Two types of inclusions predominated in the crystals investigated: filamentous inclusions and discrete, dark colored inclusions of irregular shape.
