Numerical Solution of a First Kind Fredholm Integral Equation Arising in Electron-Atom Scattering

摘要

Regularization methods for numerically solving first kind Fredholm integral equations are studied. Numerical solution of an integral equation arising in electron-atom scattering is given. This method gives the best results in a qualitative sense and the numerical solution obtained for the physical problem is the best result that can be obtained.
