摘要

A solution to the problem of three dimensional reconstruction from crosssections, based on Delaunay triangulation of object contours, is proposed. Its properties, especially the close relationship to the medial axis, enable a compact tetrahedrization resulting in a nearest neighbor connection to be carried out. The reconstruction of complex shapes is improved by adding vertices on and inside contours.
