ELLIOTT 803 STATISTICAL PROGRAMS - PART VI A COMPUTER PROGRAM TO REMOVE SETS OF DATA FROM REGRESSION DATA TAPES (PRS 17)

The program described in this report has been developed as a natural extension of Part I of this series of general statistical programs (PRS 11). It has been written to remove sets of data from regression data tapes which are not required from analysis by PRS 11. However, although such a similar facility is already in existence in PRS 11, this program has been written to cater for the more specific task of splitting a regression data tape up into several groups when it is found necessary for regression analysis to be carried out on each group separately rather than on a pooled set of data. Operating instructions together with details of preparation of steering and data tapes are also given in this report.
