Elliott 803 Statistical Programs. Part Vi. A Computer Program to Remove Sets of Data from Regression Data Tapes (Prs 17)

The program described in the report has been developed as a natural extension of Part I of this series of general statistical programs 'A General Program for Multiple Regression Analysis' (PB-186 291). It has been written to remove sets of data from regression data tapes which are not required from analysis by PRS 11. However, although such a similar facility is already in existence in PRS 11, this program has been written to cater for the more specific task of splitting a regression data tape up into several groups when it is found necessary for regression analysis to be carried out on each group separately rather than on a pooled set of data. Operating instructions together with details of preparation of steering and data tapes are also given in the report. (Author)
