摘要

With current technology, a fully virtual, closed-loop environment for developing and verifying the MARK 6 MOD 1 guidance system can be realized. This capability involves integrating models of the systems flight computers using Instruction Set Simulators into a simulation hosting the system's sensors, actuators, vehicle, and environment models. This simulation provides an accurate representation of the multiple processor guidance system to the software developers and verifiers, allowing development of application code and its verification in a system context. This provides users the ability to interact with their flight software in a manner not possible in either an open- loop mode or in a hardware-in-the-loop environment. This paper focuses on the integration of the Instruction Set Simulators into a closed-loop simulation, with discussion of the motivation, capabilities achieved to date, problems solved, and future roles for this capability specific to the MARK 6 MOD 1 program.
