Electron Microscopic Observations on Transitional Epithelium of Dogs Infected with Canine Distemper.

摘要

The urinary bladder epithelium of four dogs with natural infections of canine distemper was observed with the electron microscope. Numerous abnormal formations were observed including a finely stippled body and a virus containing inclusion. The viral elementary bodies found in this inclusion were measured and found to range in size from 900 to 1200 Angstroms in closely packed inclusions and 1100 to 1400 Angstroms in degenerating inclusions.
