A METHOD OF EVALUATING THE HYDRAULIC VIBRATION REDUCER By AN ELECTRICAL ANALOG

This report presents a method for evaluating the parameters of a hydraulic vibration reducer by an electrical mobility analog. A simplified hull representation, utilizing a complex impedance, is introduced for the analog. Curves are presented to demonstrate the effect of the vibration reducer parameters on the change of hull response. The con version of the hydraulic properties of the vibration reducer into an equivalent mechanical system is detailed in an appendix.
