摘要

The work reported herewith constitutes the initial stage of a program of investigation of the electrical, thermal, and magnetic behavior of Mo-Re alloys in their superconducting and normal states. This work covers data obtained on the electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity of Mo-Re (50% Re) wires as a function of magnetic fields at liquid helium temperatures. The magnetic fields used had intensities up to 50 kilogauss, produced by a superconducting solenoid. The work is being continued and extended to other properties and other Mo-Re samples in various physical states. (Author)
