摘要

The purpose of this study was to examine those measureable factors which contribute to Grade Point Performance in the Air Force Institute of Technology's Graduate Operations Research Programs. Student's undergraduate grade point averages and other performance indicators which could be quantified were submitted to statistical analysis. Regression models were then built to illustrate the relationships between the performance indicators and Graduate Grade Point Average. Some of the predictors were Graduate Records Examination scores, Undergraduate grade point averages, undergraduate institution, and martial status. This study showed that Graduate Grade Point Average cannot be predicted with any great degree of accuracy. There are many factors contributing to human behavior and performance. This study began to identify those measureable factors which contribute to the prediction equations which provide an indication of those variables which contribute to academic performance.
