Inverse Scattering Problem for Time-Harmonic Acoustic Waves in an Inhomogeneous Medium: Numerical Experiments

In this paper, the authors describes a novel algorithm for solving the inverse scattering problem of reconstructing the shape of acoustic waves in an inhomogeneous medium from far-field data. Limited testing has shown that the algorithm has some capacity for reconstructing simple shapes using data over a limited range of frequencies. Reprints. (JHD)
