摘要

We compute the electronic structure in the space charge layer of narrow-gap semiconductors in the presence of normal magnetic fields. Self-consistent calculations are carried out in the multiband scheme and the effects of the interface are included through adequate boundary conditions. The results are used to interpret cyclotron resonance spectra and to explain the behavior of the cyclotron mass. The work clearly shows the importance of band structure effects. [References: 19]
