Fine Paints of Europe (FPE), an importer and distributor of architectural paints from Holland, held its sixth annual Certified Painter Seminar at the Woodstock Inn & Resort, in Woodstock, Vermont The event's keynote speakers were John Shearer, of Seattle-based Shearer Painting, and Shawn Twing, of Barn Door Media in Chelsea, Vermont. FPE said Shearer discussed the marketing techniques he has used to build a large contract painting business, while Twing talked about marketing plans designed to build the business of certified painters.
