The term "eHealth" is very broad. It includes information, communication and biomedical technologies, tools and services for health. Examples include electronic health records, health information networks, prescription management systems, telemedicine services and many other mobile and internet-based tools assisting disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, health monitoring and lifestyle management.eHealth solutions have a multitude of uses. For example, they can facilitate interaction between patients and healthcare providers, transmission of data between hospitals and other institutions, and communication amongst patients themselves and/or between healthcare professionals.
