As I have been working to define, sort and apply the principles of "Passion, Purpose and Promise" to work and life, I have been arriving at a few convictions: Conviction One: It is not enough to know the principles. Activities, thoughts and motives must be calibrated to them. A ship lacking Purpose is rudderless, and therefore tossed about by the raging sea. A ship without Passion is a ship moored in harbour, experiencing little. A ship without Promise lacks awareness of its true identity; though it has more to offer, it performs as a dingy.
