In a serendipitous pairing of exquisite craftsmanship, legendary portrait photographer Albert Watson has joined The Macallan and its prestigious Masters of Photography project to produce a special photographic essay documenting the whisky maker's exceptional oak casks. Following on from Rankin's inaugural Masters of Photography series, Watson continues the fusion of two very different forms of artistry by following the life of The Macallan's oak casks from their original home in Spain's pristine mountain forests along their journey to their proud place in The Macallan Distillery in Scotland.
