INTERCHANGEABLE LENS FOR SINGLE LENS REFLEX CAMERA, CAMERA BODY, AND SINGLE LENS REFLEX CAMERA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single lens reflex camera system that includes a new interchangeable lens having an AF mechanism on a lens side and an old interchangeable lens having no AF mechanism, and a new body and an old body to which the new and old lenses can be mounted, while automatically selecting a lens-side AF mechanism or a body-side AF mechanism in any combination of the new and old lenses with the new and old bodies.;SOLUTION: In the single lens reflex camera system, the new body includes an identifying device for identifying whether the mounted interchangeable lens is the new one or the old one. The new lens includes the lens-side AF mechanism, an AF joint shaft coupled with an AF coupling of the old body to receive AF motive power, and a focusing member to ne driven in common by the lens-side AF mechanism and the AF joint shaft. Furthermore, the new lens includes a clutch mechanism that interlocks the AF joint shaft with the focusing member usually, and includes an operation switching mechanism that cuts off interlocking relation between the AF joint shaft and the focusing member in cooperation with the identifying device of the new body when the new lens is attached to the new body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
