Die Stratigraphische Tabelle von Deutschland 2002 und ihre Erlauterungen - zwischen Idee und Ausblick

The "Stratigraphische Tabelle von Deutschland 2002" (STD 2002) should be used unchanged as a ,,Regional Stratigraphic Reference Scale" (RSS) for Central Europe during five to ten years. It was created on the occasion of the ,,Jahr der Geowissenschaften 2002" in 22 month by more than the mentioned 88 authors from 38 institutions. The STD 2002 is now supplemented by the "Explanations to the Stratigraphische Tabelle von Deutschland 2005" (ESTD 2005). The ESTD 2005 contains the STD 2002 in reduced size on ten plates.
