Former Russneft Chairman Alexander Korsik will be hired by Russian holding company AFK Sistema to take charge of Sistema's Bashkir oil assets, according to industry sources. Korsik resigned from Russneft in February, allegedly because of his refusal to agree to the deal that left the oil producer holding owner Oleg Deripaska's $2.8 billion debt to Sberbank (NC Mar.19,p4).
