FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petroleum geology and can be used in calculating recoverable oil reserves from rocks represented by Bashkirian carbonate sediments of the Bashkir arch. Essence: a core of a real rock of the Bashkirian carbonate deposits of the Bashkir arch are used to fabricate standard cylindrical samples are made. Samples are extracted from the oil, dried until the mass is stabilized, weighed in dry condition. Porosity coefficient, the gas permeability coefficient and the oil viscosity are determined. Under vacuum, 100 % saturation of the sample with formation water or its model is carried out. Saturated sample is weighed in the air. Using capillary measurements, water is displaced from the samples to the value of the residual water saturation. Coefficient of residual water saturation is determined. In this case, after 100 % saturation of the sample with water under vacuum, it is additionally weighed in water, then the bulk density of the rock from which the sample is made is determined. Discriminant function of the sample is calculated by the method of discriminant analysis. According to the discriminant function, the rock grade is determined (I or II) from which the sample is made. Oil displacement coefficient is calculated with respect to the rock grade.;EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the coefficient of oil displacement by water for the Bashkirian carbonate deposits of the Bashkir arch.;1 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl
