摘要

For the past 2 years, I have been teaching a course on leadership and organizational dynamics to master of business administration students at the Graduate School of Business Leadership, University of South Africa. Although I had always included ethics in my graduate and undergraduate courses in the United States, teaching in a different economic, political, and social context has forced me to rethink my pedagogical approach on many dimensions. I find myself taking a much more prescriptive posture in discussing leadership, business ethics, and corporate governance. On self-reflection, I believe this change can be attributed to teaching in a very different context. What are the major features of the South African business ethics context?
