摘要

Effects of high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) were investigated on the extraction of flavonoids (chrysin and galangin) from propolis. Propolis samples were exposed to HHP at 100-600 MPa for 1-15 min at room temp., prior to HPLC analysis. HHP led to considerable increases in yields; exposure to HHP for as little as 1 min resulted in higher yields than extraction under ambient conditions for 7 days. As HHP increased from 100 to 500 MPa, extraction yields of chrysin increased from 0.956 ± 0.032 to 1.135 ± 0.031% and those of galangin increased from 0.637 ± 0.023 to 0.825 ± 0.03%. Further increases in pressure did not lead to further increases in yields. HHP did not damage the structure of the 2 flavonoids.
