Enviva files for IPO to back growth plans

Enviva,the largest wood pellet producer in the US,is seek- ing to raise up to$100mn from an initial public offering (IPO)of stock,as it aims to develop production and export infrastructure to raise output levels towards 4mn t/yr. The company will use funds raised from the IPO to help finance pellet plants,with a total capacity of 1.5mn t/yr, and a deepwater terminal around Wilmington,North Caro- lina.
