US crude exports reach all-time high

Houston-The US exported a record-high 591,000 b/d of crude in April, Energy Information Administration data showed Thursday, spurred on by a wider spread between domestic and foreign crudes. The exports in April, the most recent month for which the EIA has published crude export data, were up 83,000 b/d from March. The ICE Brent-WTI spread averaged $1.29/b in April, widening from an average of 66 cents/b in March, according to S&P Global Platts data.
