In 1963, a year before production began at Ford's new Basildon factory, the company built the first of the final incarnations of Fordson models - the New Performance range. Out went the characteristic orange wheels and in came what was, depending on your viewpoint, either off-white or 'mushroom'. In reality, the wheels were now grey and although the contrasting colour scheme was no more, the two colours worked rather well together.
