In the 2020 Retail Selector Study from market research firms The Farnsworth Group and the Home Improvement Research Institute,more than 42 percent of people who shopped home improvement products from January to May bought paint and accessories.The study compiles data from 2,000 DIYers across the U.S.,shedding light on how prevalent home painting projects were during the first few months of COVID-19 restrictions.
