I have a citrus which is either a Rang-pur lime or a calamondin orange. How can I tell which it is?SUSAN, LA CHAPTERAIf your tree makes fruit, the Rangpur lime is a larger fruit, more bitter and acidic, while the calamondin fruits measure about one inch across, with a thin, slightly sweet skin. If no fruit is present, the leaves on the two trees are different. Rangpur limes have simple leaves resembling Mandarins, while calamondin leaves have wings at their bases, like those of a kumquat.
