German plastics machinery orders collapse amid auto troubles, ‘image problems’

LONDON (ICIS)--New orders for German plastics and rubber machinery fell 10% year on year in the first quarter, with full-year 2019 sales now expected to decline by “at least” 10%, the country’s machinery trade group VDMA said in an update on Friday.
