PURPOSE:To attain to enhance detection accuracy by enhancing the directionality of a detection coil, by arranging a magnetic body to converge magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:A sheet like magnetic body 11 is arranged between the outer conductor 1 of a cylindrical metal container, which forms a gas insulating device along with a cylindrical inner conductor 2 having coaxial gas cable constitution, and a detection coil 10. The magnetic flux 8 of an earth trouble magnetic field is converged by the magnetic body 11 and induced electromotive force is generated in the coil 10 by the greater part of the components of magnetic flux and directionality is imparted to the electromagnetic coupling of an arc magnetic field and the detection coil. Therefore, the directionality of the detection coil is improved and the detection accuracy of an earthing troubled position is enhanced.
