Pharmacists employed directly by the NHS are being urged to take industrial action in protest at the three-year pay deal imposed on them by the Government.It is the first time in more than 20 years that-members of the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists have been asked to support industrial action.But the guild falls short of requesting pharmacists to support the call for a national strike that is being made to other health professionals and NHS staff who are also members of Amicus,the healthcare section of the Unite trade union.
