Chinese trader Sinochem has abandoned attempts to purchase a cargo of Dated Brent on the spot market, a Sinochem trading source confirmed Monday. "There has been no reasonable offer in the market, so we are no longer there to buy," the trader said, noting the best selling indication they had seen was March + 1/bbl.
