Transocean bags rig deals

Transocean has landed several contracts for its rigs in the UK North Sea and also a new deal offshore Canada. The semi-submersible rig Sedco 712 won a 16-well contract in the UK North Sea for an undisclosed dayrate. The 1983-built rig was taken on by Fairfield Energy for operations in the North Sea starting in April 2017, with the contract running until June 2018.
