Slovak, Belgian Gas Slips

Leading Slovak gas supplier SPP said on Wednesday it sold 4.66 Bcm of gas at home last year, down by 7.5% from 2009, as there was only a "hint of a partial recovery in the Slovak economy." The numbers suggest its share of the Slovak market declined, as figures from supplier organization Eurogas published two months ago indicate that Slovakia's gas consumption rose last year by 8.5% to 5.6 Bcm.
