Objective of the KnowledgeDirect project is to develop concepts as well as technical basics for an integrative platform with knowledge management functionality, Those concepts form the groundwork for a platform with the ability to share knowledge and to establish expert networks as well as to generate new knowledge. Especially in knowledge based branches like for instance biotechnology intelligence, thematic networks can be formed and existing networks can be supported.
