METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING KNOWLEDGE DATA IN A KNOWLEDGE-BASED NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, CONCERNED WITH PREVENTING MONITORING SYSTEM CONFUSION CAUSED BY A FALSE ALARM AND IMPROVING A NETWORK MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY
PURPOSE: A method for optimizing knowledge data in a knowledge-based network management system is provided to quickly apply optimal knowledge data adjusted to a current network environment by automatically sensing a false alarm, thereby preventing monitoring system confusion caused by the false alarm and improving a network management efficiency. CONSTITUTION: When an alarm for a specific network element is generated(S401), an INMS(Integrated Network Management System) monitors whether the alarm is repeated at more than a predetermined time or a predetermined frequency through a false alarm sensing function(S402), and monitors whether the abnormally repeated alarm continues during a predetermined failure recovery period(S403). If so, the INMS selects the network element as an optimizing target(S404), and calculates knowledge data except abnormal test data(S405). The INMS applies the knowledge data by time, and monitors whether an abnormal repeated alarm is generated(S406). If so, the INMS controls next knowledge data(S407), and monitors whether the alarm continues(S408). If so, the INMS deletes accumulated data and the knowledge data, and calculates knowledge data by time(S409).
