Obedience: going against the grain.

In some cultures, obedience has subtle meanings of weak personality or being followers rather than leaders. In patriarchal societies, feminists do not like women to obey men (Chan, 2009). However, to a certain extent, dependence on God or humility before God reminds us that we are created by him; therefore, Christian nurses in particular should reconsider obedience in our relationship with God. God is more likely to choose the obedient than the proud to execute his plan.
