Vietnam: long product market situation unfavourable

Conditions in the Vietnamese long product market remain unfavourable. Most local traders, having re-stocked, eitherhave suspended purchases or book small lots of the material amid low buying activity of end-users. Taking intoaccount current stocks, market players believe distributors will resume purchases only by June because end buyersare unlikely to become more active amid tight state monetary policy.
