Shield hanger for unfavourable situations - pivotable bridging plate and strut offers various fixing angles

The shield hanger can be used even in unfavourable situations. It has a positioning guide at the fixed end of which a bridging plate can be pivoted in the vertical plane. It projects outwards and is distanced from the guide by an adjustable strut. At the free end of the bridging plate the hanging top cross piece can be pivoted round a horizontal axis. Along the outer surface of the bridging plate an anchor guard plate is provided which can be adjustably positioned along the whole length of the said surface. Two or three of these hangers can be united to form a single construction having a common guide and/or bridging plate.
